Remembrance Sunday

France,
4th September 1918

Dear Wife,
Just a line hoping you are in the best of health as it leaves me quite well. I have not had a letter off you today so shall be expecting one tomorrow.
We are having some awful weather just now. I shall be pleased when this month is out we might get a bit better by then.
Well remember me to all.
I hope they have heard from George by now. I hope Dot is keeping well. Remember me to all, will write when I get a letter from you.
Well I think this will be all this time, so will close.

With best love from loving husband,

Herbert
