#YCSP - Say Cheese!

A fabulous morning at the Scottish Parliament where members of the Youth Commission on Smoking Prevention formally handed over their recommendations to the Minister for Public Health Michael Matheson MSP.

They have put in such an incredible amount of hard work over the past 18 months, developing such deep insight and expertise, along with a real passion for how you tackle health inequalities and support families and communities across Scotland. It was fabulous to hear the Minister respond so positively, highlighting where the Commission recommendations had already influenced thinking and public policy making.

I'm just so indescribably proud of the whole group - and also excited about what they will do next, both collectively and individually from what they have learned from the experience.

It's days like today that really demonstrate why I do what I do - and why it is so rewarding. Being part of how this group has grown and worked together has been a real privilege.
