Sombre & Sad

A sombre misty tree image, reflecting my mood this morning :(

Late yesterday we received terrible news about a death in our immediate neighbourhood the previous night. A man in his 40's, and well known to us, had choked while waiting for emergency services to arrive. Neighbourly telephone numbers, including ours were on the 'fridge, but tragically his frail & elderly Mother panicked in the heat of the moment and no alert was raised, other than to emergency services, who took half an hour to arrive........
