Skies

This morning was much warmer and we had a good walk. One great thing about living in Kansas is the skies. They are big and wide and you can always find something interesting there whether it be sunrise, sunset, storm brewing, or just any old day.

There are those that denigrate Kansas, saying it is just a place to fly over. I once saw a bumper sticker that read "when you come to Kansas, turn your clock back 100 years". Some may really believe that, and in some ways I can see the truth in it, but the compensations are enormous, not least the skies.
