Föhn Wind Effect

Taken from Memmingen facing south to the alps behind Kempten.

The wind coming from the south is known as the "Föhn" which has the effect of pulling the mountains closer.

On the other side of he alps in Nortern Italy they are suffering severe flooding thanks to this wind which is giving us on the northern side, warm & dry weather.
