Whooper Swan

This was a surprise.

I stopped by the loch to see if the Whooper Swans had returned this year - no sign of them so far.

But then I noticed this large whooper swan carving has appeared. This is the latest work of the Commonwealth Games Legacy project involving the carvings being placed in the city's public parks. I'm not sure if this is the final one, there may be one more to come.
