To Yell and Back

Stall Holder, Shijiazhuang Night Market

The day followed the recent pattern of early start and late finish - long drives on a very cool and hazy day, the sun's light and warmth diffused by a misty pall that didn't lift throughout.

There are some interesting views from the car of very traditional Chinese life, particularly in farming areas, but in bad light and from a moving vehicle, little chance to record these moments.

We did have the chance to walk through a nearby park, saw an amazing variety of people keeping fit through Tai Chi, whip cracking (really) and some aged looking gentleman performing countless chin-ups on the monkey bars - made me feel very lazy...

The night market was being set up as we passed and we returned later after it became dark.

Again, thanks for following these entries and apologies for lack of comments and replies...
