Derelict Thursday: just my type

Whenever I visit the neighbouring town of Cardigan I can never resist another peep at the old type cases that stand in the passage entrance to the local printers, or argraffwyr in Welsh. They aren't strictly speaking derelict but since the press has upgraded to modern methods, the type cases have been ousted from the workshops.
The cases consist of vertical tiers of wooden trays all compartmentalised according to the different fonts and sizes of upper and lower case letters and labelled accordingly: Rockwell, Sans Bold, Old Face etc.
I especially like these picture blocks that must have been used to illustrate posters, advertisements and notices in newspapers and magazines with little logos and symbols, endearing in their simplicity.

A few more photos starting here show the cases in their entirety and more blocks.
