Ant on a Hebe flower

A tiny micro sized ant feeds from the nectar of a tiny 1mm native hebe flower. The hebe "Wiri Mist" is full of nectar that the tiny ants love, they also help the flowers pollinate by taking the nectar from flower to flower. The entomologists at work say these ants are native to New Zealand
