Albatrosses in love

You will recognise these birds instantly if you saw David Attenborough last night. Waved Albatrosses mate for life and there were some touching scenes between this pair, reunited for the breeding season after having been apart for months.

Now, I know I am soppy about birds and animals - I adore the John Lewis Christmas ad - but even David Attenborough said "If love as we understand it exists in nature, then surely this must be it" so I feel quite justified!

BTW, it's even better with the soundtrack - just check out iPlayer. The main albatross footage starts at about 46 mins and the best bit has to be watching both birds dance towards each other in time to the music.
