No ring! Ergo no Fairies?

Another "prowling" day.
I spotted these in the lawn. Nothing much unusual in that
EXCEPT - They've migrated. Last 2 yrs they lurked at the base of a long dead PRUNUS SERRULA stump at least a couple of yards away.
I'll be interested to see how far it/they migrate.
