Loving The Water

Heather, Ethel, Harley and I walked to the beach at Cuckmere Haven. A rare beautiful sunny afternoon with very few people around.

We did have a laugh. We both let the dogs off on the beach and they had a great time but Harley is still careful not to get too close to Ethel.

On the way back, Harley suddenly decided to jump off the bank into the water and Ethel, not wanting to miss out, jumped in after him. Ethel being small and light was able to scramble out but I had to pull Harley out! Then they started to chase each other but still with Harley wary of getting too close.

Further along in the bends where it is shallow, Harley wades in again watching and wanting to chase the gulls on the water. He stands there for ages ignoring my calls to "come".

This evening was Jamie's certificate presentation at Willingdon school.
