Cycling Scotland, Bikeability Award Winners.

Whilst at the Cycling Scotland conference in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome last week I had the honour of accepting an award on behalf of these ladies. Martha (right) and Liz (left) were nominated by Lucy (centre) for their services to cycling and many years of dedication training children to cycle on the road. There were many nominations but we were delighted that Martha and Liz were the winners. Today I had the pleasure of attending their school (Milnes Primary) and observed as their latest class undertook the Bikeability 2 test (and all passed) before presenting the award to them in the school assembly. A very enjoyable experience and a well deserved recognition for all their hard work as volunteer instructors.
