Wooden Sculpture, Laing museum

This wooden sculpture was an exhibit in the Laing museum that we visited yesterday. After our visit to Wallsend (ref yesterday's blip) we went to the great North museum plus a walk round the Haymarket district of Newcastle before visiting the Laing gallery which was next door to the Premier Inn where we were staying. This carving was part of an exhibition called Northern spirit which featured glass, pottery, paintings and sculpture.
