Blue Plaquing

In Paignton today for the erection of a blue plaque by the Torbay Civic Society, commemorating the first production of the Pirates of Penzance. It's a harmless hobby, and usually there is a talk, refreshments, and a little bit of history. We have done two this week. Today in the Palace Theatre there was a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan, and the first act of the current production by the Bijou Theatre. And the Executive Member for Harbours, Culture and the Arts was there.
