and with a giant windstorm at the cabin all the electricity and lights went out for the afternoon. sure makes you grateful for all the luxuries we have in life. i don't know how many times i went to wash my hands, fully knowing that the faucet wouldn't work, but erroneously thinking that it would just as a result of habit.
