Soup of the day

is leek and potato! A little bit of cooking was the useful activity of the day. That's a good number of lunches prepared for the next few weeks.

Callum was doing very well early yesterday, but then not quite so well last night. He never does handle change well, so switching off the pacemaker, the nitric and taking off several drugs and moving him back to neonatal ICU at once probably wasn't a good plan. He was a bit more settled overnight, thankfully, once they put the pacemaker back on and increased the morphine again. We do wish the doctors would spend longer reading his notes and listening to the nurses on things like this, as he always objects if you try and change too much at once.
