Mersehead Sands

A day at Mersehead RSPB reserve. A shower on our way to the second hide led to a spectacular full rainbow .... guess who left the wide angle lens in the car. When that had gone our attention turned to the two small ducks which seemed to spend more time underwater than on the surface. We later identified them as Little Grebes.

After lunch we walked around the coastal trail and a fascinating beach provided lots of photo opportunities. I must look into the history of the area.
