The Sun - at last...

After eight sunless days we woke to blue skies and after a while the sun actually rose out of a bank of fog on the horizon and we enjoyed a few hours of sun in the house before cloud covered the sky once again. Because the sun is so low at this time of year it really fills the house with light, shining right through and onto the back walls.
This felt SO good. We were doing a major clear and clean-up and having the house flooded with light makes such jobs much easier.
That evening our guests arrived and those from our nearest town, Härnösand, were amazed to hear we had had sun during the day. Then we realized where that earlier seen bank of fog had been sitting.
