Apothecary jar for Zinc Ointment.

This jar, and two companions, sat on the shelf of a family friend for years and years. When my friend died, rather than leave things to specific people in her will, she left instructions for eveyone at the funeral to be invited to the house afterwards so they could each take a memento. I chose the apothecary jars.

Half the flat is clean and liveable now so it's time to rediscover some of my favourite things. The apothecary jars have emerged from their hibernation and are now in the display cabinet. It's good to see them again.
