Grangemouth

Brilliant day, clear blue skies, almost no wind but a bit chilly.
Headed for Culross and on the way back stopped to take a look at Preston Island. I saw a sign that said 'Circular Walk' and headed off. Pity no distances were given on the signs - turned out to be just over 4 miiles when I checked on the internet this evening.

Grangemouth is the petro-ckemical complex on the opposite (south) side of the Forth. No flares today but a fair bit of steam.

One notable event today was seeing a rather tattered red-admiral butterfly fluttering about and nectaring on ivy flowers. Nearly the end of November and still active! See it on Flickr
