Wow - how did that happen?

CarbBoy found his first shoe today. He actually still has pretty small feet, I think, size 3 at age 9 ("nearly ten Mammy, nearly ten". But still. Where did that little boy go?

(And just for the record, he will still tolerate me hugging him and calling him my little baby, but he rolls his eyes while I do it, and he is not at all keen on me holding his hand if any of his pals might see us. Slowly, my little boy is slipping away... I know it's normal and right and proper and all that. But still.)
