Chicken or Egg

Growing up in Germany, soft boiled eggs were a staple in my diet. (At least my biased childhood memories tell me so - maybe I just really love eggs.) They were typically eaten with a spoon, salt sprinkled on top every few bites. They were always eaten out of egg cups.

Apparently this isn't very common in western Canada. I've had a hard time finding egg cups with a brim around the edge. BUT! Yesterday I found these little gems in one of my favourite stores downtown. $2 each. What a steal!
