Happy Birthday to me

Beginning to populate the back story. This seems a good place to commence.
My birthday present was my lovely little Olympus camera.
It is my most loyal companion. I hardly go anywhere without it.
In other news I didn't go far from home as I had two days before had a particularly unpleasant experience with an oral surgeon. An apisectomy (only look it up if you are not squeamish).
