New Pole.

Today the new electricity (and telephone ) pole arrived and was duly planted 1.8mtres into the ground in my front garden.I was surprised to learn that no concrete is involved the hole is backfilled and compacted by hand (it was dug by two blokes as well,no machines ,four blokes watched!) that's it ,job done until thursday when the wires will be moved to it.
