Almost unbelievable

Driving up our lane and I spot some mist rising - round about 4 pm. Hot foot it up to the local Sussex Downs to beauty spot at Saddlescombe, near Devils Dyke. Have never seen a sight more beautiful and free. As the sun slowly set, the mist rose around the darkening trees until all that was left was the sundowning sky, the black silhouettes of nature and the ghostly mist. Just magical.
