Atlantic

No, not the Atlantic Ocean or "big pond" as it might otherwise be known to those of us who have flown across it, but instead an antique Atlantic copper wash tub. After looking at similar ones out there in web world I see it probably had a lid at one time though I never remember seeing one. This tub has been in my family for at least fifty years and used to hold firewood when it sat next to our fireplace in our 150 year old farm house. Now it sits on the front porch of my 3 year old new house. *sigh* I wonder how old this tub really is and how many babies were washed in it?
