It's amazing they survive this far north.

I also photographed the seaweed. Following recent storms, the tide has piled it up on the beach about a metre deep in places and extending about 5m by 100m along the shore. It looks great but the photos don't!!

In other news ... I found my niece's birthday card in my handbag today ... I should have posted it three weeks ago!!
