Autumn Colours

'Rocky' looking magnificent in his coat of many colours.

Its been a dull, misty and mizzly kind of day (on my day off!) so no better thing to do but go up to  The Farm to meet up with a couple of ex-workmates for a light lunch and a
bottle of wine.  JU suggested the wine, local from here, a very nice white called Wroxeter roman Villa  -A medium bodied dry wine with fragrant elderflower and blossom aromas. On the palate the wine has a fresh acidity balanced with ripe melon sweetness giving a smooth long finish. A good partner to light chicken or pork dishes, very acceptable as was lunch, the conversation, the memories, the laughter and the wood burner.

Before retiring homeward I had a quick walk round in the damp - no views, no little piggies just 'Rocky', who always comes to talk to me together with his entourage.  (btw: although the wine recommends it is a good partner to light chicken or pork dishes, I had neither for my lunch!!!)

T didn't accompany me out but preferred to stay at home, lounge on the sofa in the warm in front of the tele, and watch the  Grand Prix he'd recorded from Sunday, although he already knew who had won!!
