a picture of Victorian Decay

In an attempt to catch some natural light I went out for a cold and damp walk at lunchtime. I followed my nose and, just behind the main street, was the shell of the old school I was teaching at. It all looked a bit desolate, like the shiny new school's Picture of Dorian Grey.

There the new incarnation was all shiny new, with its ICT suites and campus sports centre and children feeding the swans waddled over from the park's pond their monster munch at playtime. And here IT was, a desolate picture of Victorian Decay.
