Tivoli

On the Saturday evening of our weekend in Copenhagen, we all went to the famous Tivoli Gardens. The place was packed, especially with families like our group, all prepared for a great time! There were Christmas lights, and rides, and stalls selling wonderful things, and restaurants.....
This picture shows our little granddaughter and her mother (on the right), and another little girl whose mother was holding her toy dinosaur, all enjoying a ride that went up and down a big central column.
(Helena had been disappointed not to be allowed on those swings that go round and round, higher and higher.... Luckily she did not ask to go on the enormous roller-coaster that flew overhead of much of the gardens!)
