It was all worth while

And here I am again - training on the west coast of Orkney. It's a bit of a repeat of yesterday but better if possible.

What a day. What an absolutely outstandingly gorgeous and perfect day for flying... We could see Ben Nevis from north of Inverness which is about 100 nms range - stunning.

Inverness itself was covered in a blanket of fog preventing anyone from flying in and out, but it was only two or three hundred feet thick and above it the view was the best I have seen in years.

We stooged around Kirkwall and Wick doing some approaches and generally just being delighted that we were being paid to do such a great job.

But this was the ultimate - the Old Man of Hoy on the west coast of Orkney in all his glory!

Stunning - it's what I became a pilot for.

Happy joyous rich blessed fabulous glowing warm wonderful days!
