Big Snowfall

Happy Thanksgiving Day started with 13 inches of heavy wet snow.
This is taken from my bathroom window and as bright as the morning would become.
One of the gardener's pride and joy is the short evergreen behind the lilac shrubs that look like pom poms. It is a Western Red Cedar which are not expected to thrive out here in the East, but thriving it is doing... so far. We have had it for 6 years. If all goes well it should grow to be a 60 foot, fresh-smelling beauty. We fell in love with them when we lived in the Seattle area.
Lots to be thankful for this year.
