It's this way

Went for a late afternoon, end-of-week cake'n'cuppa with my friend Linda to a local garden centre cafe. On the way there, we spotted a lone figure seated on a corner at the edge of a village green. It appeared to be the Snowman from the hit film 'Frozen'. How very bizarre. What on earth was he doing there, on a cold late November afternoon in the midst of rural Kent?

We couldn't resist stopping to find out more. There was a children's party happening nearby, he told us. It was in a location that was quite difficult to find. So he was there as a human signpost, to ensure that a vital turning to the venue was not missed.

He had already been there for over half an hour, and had another half hour on duty before it would be time to head indoors for a tea break. Our cuppa was just a companionable treat, but he had certainly earned his!
