Tribute

This is my tribute to the Australian cricketer Philip Hughes who tragically died yesterday following a blow to the head while batting, even though he was wearing a helmet.

On a lighter note, I held a charity social in aid of Eastbourne Samaritans. We had a book and cake stall as well as a tombola and the ever popular raffle. The total amount we raised was £547 which will be matched by Barclays Bank, so the Samaritans will benefit from over £1000. What a fantastic effort from my dancers.

The best news of the day however, came from my Husband. After changing his job a month ago, in order to stay employed he needed to pass his bus driving test. Well it was second time lucky and today he passed and is now a professional driver with a Brighton and Hove Buses.
