Watched Michael Clarke, the Australian cricket captain, give the most heartrending, tribute to Phil Hughes today. It was on TV in our canteen, everyone was very quiet, and quite a few of us were near to tears.

It has just been announced the test match between Australia and India, due to begin on Thursday, has been postponed indefinitely.

Phil Hughes funeral will be on Wednesday.
