Picking out our Christmas tree

We selected our tree today at Treeberry Farm in Scituate, Massachusetts. They measure with the big yellow stick for pricing and put our name on it as paid. He won't use his chainsaw till close to Dec 7th when they will cut and deliver for a nominal fee. We have been selecting and buying trees here for years, always the weekend after Thanksgiving. They last a long time and bring us much pleasure with ornaments collected from trips and special moments. We have high ceilings and small rooms, so we need a tall slender tree. This one has a top that needs trimming and fixing, but with our tin star it will be just fine.

I'm making pizza next and celebrating the tree selection with this Scottish ale. Then we'll settle in to watch more episodes of MI5(Spooks) on Netflix.

For the Record,
This day came in cold and bright. The birds will be happy tomorrow, I topped off all the feeders.

One hand healthy, one hand with an improved voice, but not out of the woods as yet.
