Another Full Day

It was a more relaxed day of sleeping in, then a 'big' late breakfast at younger daughters with family. Hubby and Grandson belong to Kiwanis and this was their late afternoon work time at Shore Acres. The day the lights are turned on. Here you'll see hubby in the background making sure the cookie trays and punch containers are kept full, then Grandson with his son in an upstairs room of the "Coach House". He was to guard one of the nicely decorated rooms. Then you see a display of the beautifully decorated park. Many thousands of lights are turned on Thanksgiving evening. It was a rainy day, but we braved it and enjoyed the beauty of it all. This is just a very small display of the entire park. A must see if you are ever in the area. Only $5.00 to get in and well worth it. After getting a bit cold in the rain, back to younger daughters for a bowl of wonderful Turkey Chowder and more left overs and desserts. Just a very special day.
