A Very Colorful Saturday*

Our friends are winding down their holiday visit and will return to Portland tomorrow. Today we cozied up with our books and knittings while it blessedly rained all morning; we were able to get in a stroll downtown in the afternoon. A lovely slow day, full of precious ordinary moments. How easily the four of us move together through the day, sharing and retreating in turn, simply enjoying each others company.
