Wick

We had a lovely morning exploring Fingringhoe Wick- just across the river from us, but somehow I'd never visited before! The Autumnal colours were beautiful, and we spent ages watching the birds flock over the estuary from one of the many hides. As always seems to happen in these situations, we forgot to take the binoculars, so couldn't identify any of them! Our plans for lunch in the café were scuppered as it was closed for refurbishment, so I got to have mini Cheddars and ice cream for lunch, hurray!

After a good walk, we got the monthly shop out of the way, then spend the evening catching up with a couple of friends and finally watched Dallas Buyers Club. What a film.
