Misty morning

Although it turned into another lovely still, bright, late November day, when I went to the village shop for my paper this morning there was thick morning mist all around. The church looked quite eery as the top of the tower could not be seen, and the trees looked naked against the grey background. This view across the churchyard reminded me a little of those views you used to see of the Embankment in London during a 1950's 'Pea-Souper'.
