The Other Local

I often talk about the C S Lewis Nature Reserve as being my 'local' - however there is another reserve even closer.

The Rock Edge Nature Reserve is one of the geological SSSIs (site of special scientific interest) in Oxfordshire. I've visited it occasionally - and even blipped it on occasion - over the years.

The information board talks about the reserve being at a boundary between a coral reef and the surrounding shallow seas. Was probably warmer then too.
