The Beccles Christmas Tree Competition

Every year at the turn of the autumn season, Becccles sees the Christmas tree competition. Local groups of adults and children each dress a tree in a theme of their own choosing.

We visit.

We vote.

From a photographers point of view, it's a nightmare!

The different lights all seem to have their own colour temperature! Trees with 'matched' lights to the human eye, glare in the eye of the digital sensor, or colour film.

All you are left with is average or silly.
