Sunday carvery

Part of the tradition for weekends in Ruddington is the Sunday carvery at the Rancliffe Arms (a 17th century coaching inn) in the nearby village of Bunny. We've been going there for years - a substantial part of the attraction being the enormous range of vegetables (a dozen or more) that accompany the carvery.

On the righthand side of the picture you can see the tower of Bunny Hall in the background. This is an Elizabethan house that was rebuilt in the 17th century, using such an eclectic mixture of styles that it was known as the "crazy hall".
