A view not to be missed!

What a glorious day ..... not a breath of wind, not a cloud in the sky ..... what could be better. L and I had a lovely day in Edinburgh (along with hundreds of others!). We met up with C and caught up with all her news. We wandered through the German Christmas market, took a ride on the big wheel and then went to C's flat for some lovely home made red pepper and sweet potato soup. As we headed back to Princes Street in the afternoon L and I decided to climb up the Scott Monument - a bit of an effort but well worth it for the wonderful views from the top. This was the view of the sun setting behind Edinburgh Castle and St Giles Cathedral.
