Alpine bikes winter series

It was Andy's first 'real' DH race this weekend - the Alpine Bikes winter series Rd3 at Innerliethen. 1st practice run was good. Couple of small falls but nothing major. 2nd run however saw him overshoot a berm after a 7ft drop-off and he cartwheeled down the course!

He managed a couple of more practice runs after that, however the damage was done and he had to retire early with a sore neck and sprained/swollen ankle.

It didn't put him off and indeed has actually reinforced his desire to compete in the future!
