Day out in the capital

Today me and my Granma travelled into London, as she had won two tickets to the Brick show at the excel! After trouble with the trains and coaches we made it to the exhibition just after opening time. We queued for ages and then went in for about 20 minutes as there were so many people and not much we could do. So, instead we took the DLR to Victoria Park where we went on the Emirates airline across the Thames :) The views were amazing and you could see many landmarks. Afterwards we headed towards Tower Bridge and decided to do the exhibition, so that we could see the glass walkway (very disconcerting walking across it...). Our day ended with more travel complications and full stomachs after a great meal.
My blip today was taken from the south end of Tower Bridge, where there was a good view of some wonderful landmarks.
