An Avid Lensman

Just How Low Can You Get??

Well, on elbows and knees, in fact, getting damp shirt and jeans and having to change both after. Down from 6 feet 2 down to three inches is quite a come-down, I tell you!

Just feet, literally, from my front door, with the big tree and its big carpet of leaves. Outside my neighbour's ground floor window - thank goodness he sleeps til late, else he would have phoned the dog warden, if he'd seen my compromising position - he'd have thought I was digging up a bone!

Dull, cold and more dull and cold and with rain tomorrow, so had to make the most of an emergency situation. Background bokeh (blur) is purely down to the 35mm f1.4 old Nikon lens being used wide open and (manually) focussed at its closest. (0.3 metres - about 12 inches)

Glad to have got this as it's a day of grocery shopping, renewing repeat prescriptions and I have to ask why can't someone come up with an alternative Seasonal song, so we don't STILL have to endure the likes of Slade and Greg Lake. PLEASE somebody! IF we have to suffer muzak, as if we need reminding of the impending celebrations as the stores literally stuff their glitzy wares down our throats...

...rant over, two pillows bought for £8 at BHS. (Mega Monday sale - no fighting amongst the shoppers though...)

HUGE big and mega thanks for ALL the Hearts, stars and comments on yesterday's misty midnight Blip. It's already got enough stars to be in the Top Rated folder, is top of the Favourites right now and was swapping places with Max's excellent Stag shot that even I cast a Heart for, at the top of the Spotlights.
