The problem!

Finally tracked down why the battery in the LR keeps draining.......it is so nice to have experts available whom I took the car to this afternoon and in 10 minutes the problem had been diagonosed. I do envy people who have just so much knowledge and say even before thy have investigated 'well it's common these that the alternator fails - lets just prove it'. Which they did!
So I could either get a new one at a cost well in excess of £100 or as they suggested get mine repaired so long as I did not mind a couple of days without the car for about £40. No contest really and they rang the chap who does them who said 2 days!
So back home to take it off and tomorrow morning take to be overhauled!
Let's hope it all goes smoothly..........
