Art for some

This artwork running the length of the centre of the main road outside the charity shop where I volunteer has attracted a lot of criticism since it appeared a couple of weeks ago.

The perpetrators artists apparently spoke to local people and recorded their words on the metal uprights... "Have you got your make-up on duck?", "It must have been me... ...who was under the weather and not her!" and "Anything we can do for Alvaston we will." to name a few.

Personally I think it's a waste of money when there are so many other things it could have been spent on.
